Inspired to live with gratitude.

My computer has been way to slow lately. Hopefully, the new Mac Snow Leopard (I <3 Macs) will make some difference, but meanwhile I've been trying to clean out some space on my hard-drive. As I was transferring photos onto my external, I found a batch I wanted to share. It was only a month ago, but why does it seem longer than that? Although, it doesn't happen every time, it's nice to get a chance to check out the venue to see what you're working with. This was at Huntington Beach, California. I don't even have to tell you the location, you can already tell by the looks of the place, it has a very socal feel to it with such gorgeous weather. I miss it.

A few gems I found while exploring the area. This photo makes me want to sunbathe.

When I saw this sign, I thought to myself, ' we are SO doing group shots here!' ;) Always tempted to break the rules, but we decided to play by them.

On a more personal note, I was being sneaky and eavesdropped on a phone conversation my mom had with one of her friends, and I was reminded of something very important. She mentioned how her commute is an hour and sometimes over an hour one way. She leaves at 5 in the morning to avoid traffic, and it's still an insane commute, but she continued on about how thankful she was even to have a job. That inspires me... To live life with more gratitude and not to lose sight of all that's amazing in my life already. :)

Pauline Wedding (Details) - Huntington Beach, CA

Hair and make-up was done at Andre Hair Studio (LA, CA):

I love shoes <3.

Newland Barn (Huntington Beach, CA). It was a beautiful outdoor venue.

I like the idea of having unity sand instead of the unity candle.

And a nice customized bowl for one of their honorary guests! :)

These all came in handy for an outdoor, sunny-day wedding. Sunblock and after-sun aloe.

The programs were fans...

that could also be used to shield the sun. hehe

Gerbera daisies!

Pauline Wedding - Huntington Beach, CA.

Congrats Pauline! I had the pleasure to shoot Angeline and Paul's wedding this past Saturday in beautiful California. Both of them currently live in Seoul, Korea, and flew in a week before the wedding to pull everything together... and thankfully everything came together beautifully! Here's the happy couple.

And just a few more teasers throughout the day. I loved the beach shots!

Lovin' the flipflops. ;)

I wasn't planning on having any group shots in this post, but I just couldn't resist this one. It was just too cute! The bride, bridesmaids, and bridesman. ;) (Sorry, Andrew!)

Check back during the week. I'm going to post a couple entries on wedding details this week, then more images from Pauline's wedding next week.

Christine and Tommy Wedding - San Diego, CA

Wanted to post up the rest of the photos from Christine and Tommy's wedding. :) Some of them I'm posting twice, because I re-edited them.

The flower girl was such a doll. :)

I really liked the shadows in this one.

Details. Details

The groom was a weeper. I think it is so sweet when guy's get emotional in weddings.

They were rolling in the dough after the money dance.

Christina and Daniel Wedding - LA

Got to go shoot a wedding with Scott Robert last month in LA, and it just so happened that I knew the bride and groom and met them a year earlier in SF through a friend. It was nice to see all the ATL people party it up in LA. It was also an awesome learning experience being able to observe and see SR in action and interact with his clients. Here are a few from the day. The first two were all setup/posed by SR, although I have to give myself some credit for paying attention to the details of it, ie the veil, etc. haha =P Then, I ran off to do different detail shots.

I remember someone mentioning to me about how special the organs were to this church, so I figured I would incorporate them in.

And somethin' personal. I decided I'm going to be more active and take up a sport, and I guess for a girl in her mid-twenties, tennis seemed appropriate and good socially. So Yes, I am giving up my dreams of being awesome at basketball. I have myself a tennis instructor to keep myself motivated, AND for a little more motivation I went shopping for a cute tennis outfit Sunday. I hear the boys love pink?? haha I didn't find anything I liked... who knew it would be this hard! I will just have to sneak some shopping time in between some errands today, because I am determined to look good while I play (miserably haha). If anyone sees anything, I am def open for suggestions. :)

I think I'm liking this one. I like the Adidas by Stella McCartney, too, but I'm thinking I'll hold off on these until I'm at least decent at playing. haha

Rose and Mark's Wedding - San Francisco, CA Part II

Okay, so here's the rest of the set.

Oh, the things the groomsmen had to do to get to the bride... like doing the catwalk in heels. He was a professional, I tell ya

and drinking baby food. Spinach flavor. Bottoms up!

A little tea ceremony action:
